Hi Geraldine,
Hope you doing well. Around those topics I could think bioengineering, biotechnology or biomedical related courses would be a good fit. There are a lot of good opportunities around that field. Before making your decision you may want to consider what drives you to those topics, what exactly do you like about them (root cause). You may like something specific and that will guide your career path. An example when people say they like maths because they are good with numbers and others like math because they like to solve problems. The ones that like numbers must likely will like a finance or accounting career, but the other ones will be better at something they can use their problem solving skills like project management or consulting.
Hope I was able to help!
Best Regards,
Alex

Hi Geraldine! Can you give some more context about your question? For example, are you referring to college courses and degrees/majors or jobs after you graduate college?
M referring to college courses
Geraldine
Thanks for the reply! I think it depends on your specific college/university and major. Do you have an academic advisor you can email/speak with?
Sarah Johnson
Uhm no i don't have an academic advisor
Geraldine
Okay! Now, I see that you're in South Africa, and I actually studied abroad at a few colleges there about 15 years ago, so my knowledge may be a bit dated, but I'll try. A lot of times it is helpful to have courses in statistics, calculus, biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, anatomy, geography, and human geography. I recommend learning which exact courses you need for your degree before registering for classes because you don't want to pay for a class you don't need! Can I clarify anything?
Sarah Johnson
Yes you can clarify
Geraldine
Okay! What can I clarify for you?
