Wael’s Answer

Talk about your experience with the company positively then mention that another opportunity came up that you could not refuse. You should end by how much you are going to miss the place and how you are going to keep in contact with everyone.

Nicole’s Answer

Hi ahilandeswari B. I see that you posted this question a little while ago so I hope my answer to you (or others who may read this response) is still helpful.

I think the awesome thing about this question is that it doesn't matter what the job is...behaving in a professional manner doesn't end when a worker decides to leave a job. As indicated by one of the answers "No need to burn any bridges.." is an all-around good habit to have/adopt.

To add a bit to the answers provided, there are many times, in one's career, where a worker can cross paths multiple times with previous or ex-coworkers. One's grace (or lack thereof) when leaving a job can and does remain in co-worker and bosses memories. I have found that when the attitude, in moving on, is one of excitement and growth and not based on more negative attitudes, the easier it becomes to leave gracefully. Oftentimes a graceful exit can leave the door open to growth in ways that you may not imagine but that can be beneficial.

Hope you find this answer helpful. Good luck!

I agree with what f the former person said. Besides that make sure you know what the policies are about resigning and offer to stay as long as the policy requires. Offer to train someone if they find that person before you leave and just be positive. No need to burn any bridges
