With everything going on, there are now many more opportunity for virtual work -

Cruise/Travel
Airlines Reservations

For the most part, all IT and cybersecurity can be done remotely. Data systems. MIS. Getting certifications in these disciplines can position you to take advantage of the growing demand for IT talent.

In some companies, you may be required to start in the office/building but may be able to deploy to working@home some time thereafter.

Jessica’s Answer

Hey Ivy,

I think there are high chances for getting a remote job in the technology industry. Such jobs include a developer, software engineer, etc .

Other jobs that are being conducted remotely are teaching positions, though it depends on the country, since some countries have schools that are opened. Otherwise, there are a lot of opportunities for teaching remotely.

Other remote jobs are in the field of internet marketing that include promoting companies on social media, creating a company website, working on the brand identity of the company, etc.

Hope this helps
Best of Luck!

Mark’s Answer

Hi Ivy Rose!

There are lots of online or remote sites out there that you can check out. Do you have a skill set? Are you a writer? An artist? A blogger? Developer? Some sites you could check out would be Flexjobs.com, fiverr.com, upwork.com, freelancer.com... And the list goes on!

I believe most are free, but it's pretty competitive.

Hope this helps!

Access yourself what is your passion, interests and likes so you can plan and do research which online work and industry you can apply to. You can apply for virtual tutorial for students, affiliate marketer, data encoder, product reviewer, researcher and etc. Be careful on online jobs scams associated with home-based jobs.
