Filipa’s Answer

We advise you to start with an internship in an area of your interest, to gain some knowledge.
Other option is to do some virtual courses in areas of your interest, or gain knowledge from reading articles of the industry that you wish to work in.

Tiffany’s Answer

If possible there may be online courses that will allow you to get certifications in certain careers. Also, if available reach out to people in that particular field and see if they offer internships or mentoring.

Hope this helps…

RAVI’s Answer

When you say II, I assume you mean +2 or 12th standard and you did not proceed to college.
It is not a big deal as many of us have many family, financial and other problems that hinder in our plans.
It is never too late and it is great that you want to restart your career and build it up to brighten the future.

Best wishes for your future.
Here are the few things I recommend you do.

RAVI recommends the following next steps:

Sit down, and think what you like to do and what you want to be in that field. Finalize on 1 or 2 things that you are good ad and that like to do and and see if you want to pursue your career in that field. You must like the field to be successful. Otherwise you will get bored or disinterested sooner or later.
Go to youtube and look for educational videos in that field. For e.g: let's say you like Chemistry or Math or writing or whatever. Many of them are free and many are well done. Sometimes better than many of these expensive online tutorial institutions or even colleges. It could be designing clothes, photography. Learn everything you can and become good at it.
Try to practice your learning, take notes, and keep getting better. Watch more videos and repeat.
While doing all this plan how you can use all the knowledge you have gained and the expertise you have developed to put together a business of your onw or highlight it in a resume to seek a job opportunity. If you can afford get a professional college degree. To be successful, you do not need one. But need the knowledge, confidence and sometimes a bit of luck as well.
Work hard, learn, practice, work and succeed. Best wishes.
Thank you comment icon Hi thanks for your reply .. I am bcom , llb , llm sir but due to huge gap and no experience in office work ,or firm or corporate sector (lpo) it’s difficult to get job .. and not getting the right way to get into a job Devyani
Thank you comment icon My apologies. Did not understand what II meant in India. That is great to know. You have a great education already. In the field of commerce try to start at a small firms like an accountant's office or even helping your neighbors to file taxes and charge a fee, or help maintain books for nearby businesses and try advising them how to keep all their cashflow and transactions intact on a daily basis. You can do this for a fee. I do not know much about legal field. But should try to reach out attorneys near the courthouses or at their offices and try to work for free for a few weeks or few months or for a small salary and learn from them on the job. It is not too late, and it is not difficult. You can do it!. RAVI REDDY
Thank you comment icon Thanks .. hope so I can make it .. will try for the best .. thanks a lot again .. Devyani
