I'm not a forensic scientist, but I do know one who has lots of interesting experience. https://www.calstatela.edu/hhs/crim/faculty-donald-j-johnson-ms . Reach out to him. If you call and/or email and ask to schedule some time I'm sure he'd give you 30 minutes or more. He truly loves the field!

Hi Eunice,
You may want to research colleges and universities that have Forensic Science as a major. Once you narrowed down the colleges and universities of interest, then review the websites for the Forensic Science department. You will be able to find faculty and staff who can help you with your assignment.
Another recommendation is to look for Forensic Science professionals on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com). You can send the professional a message and let him or her know that you are interested in learning more about his or her professional background, work experience, education, etc.
Also, your local police department can be another resource. Police departments have their own Forensic Science and/or Crime Investigation Lab Divisions to investigate criminal activities and crime scenes.
Hope this helps and best wishes in your career blog assignment!
