To create a new anime series, is a lot of work for an individual, some youtubers do create stunning animation by themselves, so if you wanna create a youtube series. It may workout pretty good!. I think youtube and also other social medias are a good option to kickstart your fame, create animation, upload the behind the scenes and the process videos to keep the viewers indulged while you work on the whole episode. If your work is amazing and is what viewers love and want, then in no time you'll be famous and will also start to earn.
For your anime to be on TV, you'd need many permissions and will have to invest a lot, So, this is usually done by Art studios where a number of employees work on a single story and animate it! A lot for advertising is needed for that!
For me, I think releasing your anime on Youtube is the best option, Afterwards there are many opportunities you can consider in growing the popularity of your work! and also you'll have the full freedom of uploading your work on Youtube. Keep going at the pace you want!
Best of luck For your Future!

Hey Ayaan,
Short answer is: If you want to be a well known artist, then make your art known well.
POST YOUR WORK
Post your artwork on various sites such as Deviant Art, Instagram, Facebook, Dribbble, Behance, etc. By simply posting your art, you will get your style out into the world. Knowing a little bit about SEO (search engine optimization) reveals that posting your work, and having people relink to your work generates the most online traffic toward your brand. So post on every social media you can think of, just so that, wherever people may be, they stumble across your work.
Don't work in a silo. And even though it can be scary, make your work-in-progress known; it won't get stolen by others; at worst, people will give you compliments, feedback, suggestions, or even ask to participate.
DO WORK FOR OTHERS
By this I mean, present yourself as an "expert" in your field. @Domdom DudePits, was saying, utilize youtube. Post video tutorials on youtube teaching people how to do what you do. Whatever your draw/ animate, however you do it, it is uniquely you — even if you feel like you're still finding your style — no one else can draw what you can, because they're not you. But people will want to see you do what you do, because they'll want to know how to do it like you. So create videos, or tutorial blogs, that help others to be better artists.
Plus you never know, you may create a "disciple" who will end up working with you later-on as a fellow animator; and if they know how to draw in a style that matches or compliments yours — because they studied YOU — then that makes it that much easier to make a project together.
PRACTICE YOUR UNIQUE IDEAS / PERSPECTIVE
Get inspired. Being an animator means NOTHING. What I mean by that is, animation is just a medium to tell a STORY. Your focus should be on coming up with creative ideas, practicing your story telling abilities, understanding the limits of things like "suspension of disbelief," and "circumventing expectations." I think it comes from a movie called "The Prestige," that says that the secret to magic is:
1. The Promise.
2. The Turn.
3. The Prestige.
LAST, BUT NOT LEAST
Practice your animation. Get as good, or as fast (not necessarily both at the same time) as you can.
Good luck on your journey.
