That is an ambitious goal but you can get their with hard work and focus. If you really want to become a billionaire there are a couple of things that you absolutely have to learn. The first is how to handle and invest money, so you will want to learn about investing and money management. Most billionaires are there because they let their money make them more money. The second is determining what you want your primary source of income to be. Are you going to be an athlete and make your millions there to turn into billions? Or do you want to start a business and look to grow it? If you want to start or run a business you will need to take some courses in entrepreneurship and business management. The most successful businesses are those that solve a real world problem. So those are just a couple of tips and things that you can focus on if you want to become a billionaire, everybody has to start small and then grow from there. Goodluck.

Hi Brandon -

It is awesome to dream big,! I would also think about and focus on the smaller, shorter term, goals that are necessary to set you up on that path. These include: achieving the highest grades /academic achievements possible, as well as building strong social skills.

In order to become a billionaire, you most likely need to create something special that serves a need for a lot of people. It is probably best that whatever you create is aligned with what your passion in the world is. I would read the stories of other billionaires. Learn how they got started, the path they took and what their suggestions are. How to think and grow rich is a very good book in this regard.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Brandon.

It's great to have goals but you want to truly understand your motivation for doing something. However, if you seek money for the sake of money you many never be happy since there's always more to be had.

According to Forbes https://www.forbes.com/billionaires/ there are 660 billionaires and I couldn't name more than 10-20. So is that really the best measure of success? Robert F. Smith was the richest African American 2020 have you ever heard of him?

Keep in mind that not everyone agrees with what's considered success and you'll need to decide for yourself what it is or who's opinion you value. Does fame equal success rather than money? What about societal impact? Would you rather be the next W. E. B. Du Bois or Kanye? George Washington Carver or Ben Carson?
