Satish Reddy’s Answer
This is a very interesting question, especially in the pandemic period. The world has changed how we look at and do things.
There are a lot of opportunities for working from home. 90% of the IT jobs are now WFH (work from home). Not just IT almost all fields have a work from home option unless that job is related to manual machinery involvement. First, you need to shrink your search by which area or industry you are looking for jobs. Then use Google and Youtube to get more knowledge.

After the Pandemic the world changed and many of job did as well. You can find different positions remote. You have to keep in mind that is true that working at home or remote is more comfortable but sometimes you have to work more hours and you have more responsibilities.
Systems, costumers services, administrative are example of position that you can find to work at home.
Working at home is more comfortable but that doesn't mean less work, sometimes is the opposite.
Hope I help you!

Hi Colin- You may want to start with you school guidance counselor. They may be able to recommend some local businesses or career sites that other students have had success with. You may also want to set up a LinkedIn profile if you haven't yet. You can let employers know what you're interested in and also search for opportunities. Good luck!

Hi Colin L. Thanks for this truly timely question!
The fact that you share that you have technological skills is a good start. I suggest to you that the specifics of your technological skills will matter to people who are looking for employees. In general terms, people who are successful at working from home will contribute to a team or project in a way where they can demonstrate what they are producing. In that path, video editing is a great example. Some questions that an employer, who is looking for video editors may ask is "what types of programs do you use for your editing?", "can you show me the types of work you have done?", "can you show me where your video editing skills have been used like in an ad, a tv show, an online program?" In other words, if you have your own editing software that could be a big plus.
Rather than share a specific list of the types of jobs that would allow you to work from home, I will share three possible traits that could make a job "work-from-home-able" :). 1) The individual as their own self-contained software that they are comfortable with or believe they can learn pretty quickly due to previous familiarity 2)The individual can work very well either independently or with others to produce high quality output and meet deadlines. 3) The job/employer has jobs that are built in such a way that doing the work doesn't require team members to be in the same physical location. 4) The individual and the employer have clear expectations of what needs to be done and what the measurements of success are.
Hope these few pieces of information are helpful. Best of luck to you!
