Hi Dominic,

It can be overwhelming and extremely pressured to work in the kitchen. Myself, I had an opportunity to work in a busy restaurant's kitchen in the past. Similar to other workplace environments, communication and teamwork are they keys to success. Believe in yourself and you shall go a long way. Don't forget to have fun a long the way.

It really comes down to the team you have working beside you! Like many things in life, teamwork is key! There are multiple situations that can be thrown your way at any given moment to send a kitchen staff into what we can "the weeds". When you become behind and orders pile up.. After MANY years the best advice i can give is to focus on each of your tickets one by one, for whatever items may be part of your station, and keep a clear open line of communication with your fellow cooks and chip away one by one together. Its like a choreographed production when everyone is working together and it just flows into place. Hope that helps!!!
