What does it take to make Culinary arts worthwhile?

Since I was nine years old, I have been involved in the culinary arts. As a teenager, I worked in the kitchen of a few restaurants. Recently, I've wondered if Culinary Arts might be for me.

It takes Heart, Soul, determination, imagination and hard work.
My gut says if you have to ask that question then it's not for you.

Other than creating your own food, what makes the culinary field worthwhile is making your guests happy. To see them enjoy your food and create memories that they will remember.
