I am thinking of pursuing a degree in either meteorology or astronomy, so I want to know the facts or pros and cons of each degree #astronomy #meteorology

Both of these can allow you to be a very detailed expert. Both also have room for big picture views. Meteorology is going to continue to be important as climate change continues. Astronomy is a growing field also, where technology is allowing new progress. The big picture side of astronomy is cosmology which I find fascinating. Both fields also make use of computer software, so that also is something to keep in mind, especially if that is something that you like.
