Ann’s Answer

Hi Eden! Online Education is a great field to get into, and the demand is growing. There are lots of career paths depending on whether you want to work in K - 12 or in Higher Education. There are also lots of careers for online education that are more skills based instead of degree oriented.

I myself worked in Student Services in the online education realm for many years. Our department provided academic advising and career coaching. To get in the realm of distance education coordinating, that comes from a faculty side. You will want to look at getting a degree in education. In the steps I will include some sites to check out. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

I would recommend looking into the software/application administration. Something like Salesforce Administration is very rewarding and does not require you to do extensive work and have qualifications like many other fields would.

Peter’s Answer

I'm not sure if you're asking about remote work but if you are interested jobs that can be done remotely, many oppotunities have opened up since COVID at all kinds of companies. This includes jobs in design, financial services. banking, marketing, publishing, computing, research, and many other areas and fields.

Peter recommends the following next steps:

Decide what interests you most
Look for jobs in fields of interest to underdstand what skills are required and responsibilities are assigned
