Hello Jacob, what a great question! Per discussion with my colleague who is in the IT industry, he strongly recommended A+ certification. He said it is a really good place to start. It may take some time to complete it, but it must be worth it! Best of luck! :)

I spent some time working in IT/PC Repair and I found that the study I did for the CompTIA A+ exam was suitable for the basic work that I was expected to perform. Network+ and Security+ would also be helpful in today's environment.

You could acquire the abilities required to operate as a computer repair technician by completing the CompTIA A+ certification program.
CompTIA A+
The beginning of an IT profession is here. Foundational IT abilities are validated by the performance-based tests across a range of hardware and operating systems.
After completing the next stage, you can apply for the following certification.
CompTIA Network+
The key abilities required to competently design, setup, administer, and troubleshoot any wired and wireless devices are recognized by the Network+ certification.
Both of these qualifications will be beneficial, and they will boost one's career confidence.
