Hows the life of a self employed Plumber?

Hi Eugene. I answered another similar question you had but I can provide more info here.

What's the pay like?
Currently, many trades are in high demand and therefore they can charge a high hourly rate. A self-employed non-licensed plumber that I've worked with charges $45/hour in the Chicago area for smaller jobs. For bigger jobs, those are bid traditionally as one amount.

How demanding is it here in the valley of California?
I can't answer this question as I am not located in California. But I would imagine that plumbers are in high demand in most metropolitan areas.
