I grew up watching Disney Princess movies, and I've never shown a lot of interest in any other genre aside from animation films. I also fell in love with Japanese anime so there's that. As I grew older, I realized my interest was more than just a phase and it developed into something else: Storytelling.
So, yeah. It's not an easy industry to pursue to be frank, but I believe "things that last are never easy" so I'll keep persisting until I end up working in a studio.

Wow. This question takes me back. Back in 2017 when I got into my current field of law enforcement, I was looking for a job that was challenging and fast paced. I saw a job listing for Loss Prevention. I read the description and was intrigued. I applied, and the hiring manager took a chance on me. Doing Loss Prevention made me fall in love with the field of law enforcement. From this, I went to financial crimes at the corporate level. I then enlisted in the Marine Corps to do Corrections. All of these were unique experiences that helped further my love for the profession.

Very good question!
- The first think I would say is important to take in consideration is identify your passion, what are those things that really make you happy and and make you feel a sense of fulfillment.
- Then you need to start investing in your professional profile on that area that is your passion. Look for education opportunities that can make you be competitive on that field.
- Networking! Start by joining groups where you can meet people that have a high level of experience and knowledge on your area of interest, so you can ask any questions you may have and guide you through your journey.

I always knew I wanted to become a lawyer but wanted some real-life experience in the field before spending years getting my degree. So, I worked for a law firm as an admin for 9 months after high school to see what it is really like to be a lawyer. That solidified my decision but also showed me some areas that I eventually excluded.

Thank you for your question. This is a very common question to many students, same as myself when I was your age.
Below are the approach I have taken :
1. Think about my hobbies and favorite subjects and identify the related careers
2. Do some research on these careers and find out what careers I have interest
3. Speak to someone who are also working in these careers. Seek guidance from school career counselor, my parents, etc.
4. Short list 1-2 careers I would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of the relevant subjects in the college
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
