What I Want To Pursue For My Future Dreams?

What I want is to pursue my dreams by having what makes me more comfortable and willing to do hard work on and rely on, As for my dreams I want to become a cosmetology and dancing, the real reason why I like dancing is because I much I stay energized and more freedom like a breeze that hits my face and helps me become more confidence. I like to do some cosmetology to do nails, hair, makeup and facial. singing is also my career but I can't sing so I'm trying to overcome that obstacle. Acting was my favorite but my confidence went low for it.

Gabriela’s Answer

Hi Carlos,

Everything sounds like you would be good in the entertainment of some kind. Maybe be a make-up artist for shows/actors. Have you looked into something like that? Maybe opening your own business in cosmetology? giving online tutorials would be good. Sounds like you live a very happy and exciting life. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Gabriela recommends the following next steps:

Try looking into Theather's , Circ de Solei'l things like these
Maybe start doing some things from home
Take short courses to always be updated
Look into tutorial videos that help you grow in the business educational
Be very professional with your clients this would make them come back and recommend you

Carlos? It seems like you're interested in the acting/theatrical/musical/makeup rehearsals seen, am I correct? Well, I can feel your energy. Have you ever thought about learning how to play an instrument? Such as the piano, saxophone, or drums? These are just examples. Many singers have gone on to become actors and vice versa. For example, look at the late great Prince; he started as a singer, as well as dancing. He also dabbled in acting and then went back to singing. Another great was Whitney Houston, she started singing, and her first motion picture with Kevin Costner did exceptionally well. Theatrical is another excellent way to get your feet wet with the multiple careers you have set out for yourself. This is just a suggestion, just as a fallback, do the cosmetology first, and be very good at it (if you're good, word of mouth will keep the clientele coming) while pursuing your goals. Did you know that Antonio Banderas can actually sing? Well, he's not the only one; Robert Pattinson, who played Edward Cullins from Twilight, is another person that can sing too. The sky IS NOT the limit with you, my friend.

Evelyn recommends the following next steps:

Learn to play an instrument
Get the certification for cosmetology
Singing lessons
Acting classes

Andrew’s Answer

I'm sure everybody goes about this a bit differently but this is what has worked from me. It all comes down to goal setting and holding myself accountable to those goals.

1.) Start by clearly defining what you want your life to look like by a certain time, you decide that time (5 years?)
2.) Work backwards from there, what milestones do I need to achieve from now until then to get to where I want to be? Education? Practice? Meeting people who do what you want to do and get their advice? Etc.
3.) Write down these milestones and set a date for yourself to achieve the milestones

To your ask about hard work, this model will keep your working hard as long as you set the right milestones and hold yourself accountable to achieving each milestone. Don't let yourself make excuses. Hit each milestone and 5 years later you will find yourself much closer to where your future dreams become reality.

Good luck.
