Hello,
I am not sure if you have or have not completed your assignment however, I think this is an interesting question. If you think about it, architecture was created so that we can have shelter. There are multiple reasons why shelter is valuable:
1. To protect us from the weather. Our bodies are not conditioned to absorb weather conditions over a period of time (there are some outliers) however, on average, the majority of people will not survive.
2. Shelter is a form of a resource, in that we are allowed to value the structure, material, and time it takes to build it. Moreso, according to Maslow's hierarchy it is one of the first forms of showing self-love, that you want to be "inside" protected, and provided for to survive.
3. Shelter creates a home where you have a space to develop yourself and a family that creates cohesion /togetherness for a family to grow.
4. Architecture was created to enhance the communities that allow us to meet our wellness. For example, a playground is healthy for children and designed to meet and challenge a child's physical standards and capabilities that are necessary for their bodies.

Hope these points give you insight on your assignment. Good luck!
