Daniel’s Answer
Hi David!
The two books I would suggest that have made the most impact on my career are:
1. Love Works by Joel Manby
2. The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Achieving Your Wildly Important Goals by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey, and Jim Huling
I have read a little more than 30 business books and the two above are the best in my opinion!

Robert Cooper's book 'The Other 90%: How to Unlock Your Vast Untapped Potential for Leadership and Life' inspires and instructs its readers how to effectively tap into those parts of our brain (cerebral, heart and gut) that will open up new reservoirs of potential and inspiration. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, written by Stephen Covey. Seems to be a popular choice here.
One valuable tip from the book that I continue to use is focusing on tasks that are important but not urgent. Occasionally, it's necessary to dedicate 20 or 30 minutes to a task due next month, because it may be more important than one due today or next week. We often procrastinate on challenging and important tasks that aren't urgent, opting for easier tasks due sooner. In short, this requires discipline.

Joseph Campbell: The Power of Myth
This was the very start of seeing the world in a different way. It led me to understand that when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change as well as storytelling is a true art. In business all we do is tell the narratives we would like others to share in and help find a common ground shared beliefs to move the business forward....
