Patrick,
to keep up with your career goals do something towards it every day even if you're looking up information on Youtube or finding podcasts to listen to someone who is already doing what you want to do. Keep the momentum going by writing down in a journal your steps toward your career goals and taking a look back every so often to see how much you have learned. It's also great to find a mentor you can connect with and get ideas on how to continue pursuing your career goals.

Hey Patrick.
Being aware of what you want to accomplish and writing it down is a great first step. Join LinkedIn (if you haven’t already) and find professionals who are doing what you hope to do. Ask about their journey and seek advice from those that have found success. That should help create a realistic timeline for where you want to get.
Taking the above and breaking it into smaller milestones and targets will help you stay consistent!

Kathleen’s Answer
Hi Patrick! One thing you could think about is breaking your goals up into short term and long term goals. For example, one of my long term goals was to get my MBA. That was something that I had to work towards. Short term goals that eventually helped me get to my long term goal of an MBA included: graduate high school, work hard at college, get an internship and spend a few years in a full time career building experience before my MBA.
Your big goals can be long term goals that you achieve in 5 years. Short term goals are smaller things that you can achieve in one to three years.
Define your long term goals
Break up your long term goals into a few short term goals

Having hard to reach goals is definitely not a bad thing! “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.”
If you're feeling overwhelmed with the goals you've set for yourself, break them into smaller tasks. What can you do today, tomorrow, or this week to get just a step closer to achieving these goals? After all, any distance is just a series of small steps.
One thing you could do is look for mentors in the field you want to go into. Shoot some emails or send connections on LinkedIn - you'd be surprised at how many people are willing to help! Once you're able to find someone, talk about your goals with them. You might ask them to help you refine your goals, or to suggest some "small steps" that you can work towards in the short-term, or even for general advice about what you're trying to accomplish.
Most importantly, believe in yourself! If you think a goal is hard to reach, your actions will probably follow that mindset. However, if you truly believe that you can achieve your goals, you'll be a lot more likely to work towards them.
You can do it - good luck!

HI Patrick,
I want you to stay motivated, keep your career path momentum going and never give up or feel defeated. Take those challenges head on and your will execute them with strength and determination. You got this. Here are a few steps to help your through your journey.
Restart/Reset by clearly defining your career goals again. Be specific about what you want to achieve and when you want to achieve it.
Create a plan that outlines what you need to do to reach each step along the way. Identify the skills you need to reach your goals, and then actively work to develop those plans.
Build relationships with people in your field who can help you achieve your goals.
Stay focused on your goals and keep pushing forward. Celebrate your successes along the way, and don't be discouraged by setbacks or challenges.
Seek out opportunities to gain experience and build your skills, even if they may not be directly related to your ultimate career goals.
Ask for feedback from your colleagues, supervisors, and mentors, and use this feedback to improve your skills and approach to work.
You got this, I am rooting for you.

Hey Patrick
The first step you need to take, bring back on the table those goals you had, take a look at them first, acknowledge yourself on the ones you have achieved.
Then once take a look at the one's that seems hard to accomplish and replan use the same strategy you used for the previous ones you accomplished and know where you are not getting it right on the one that seems hard.
Replan , strategize, rewrite the plan and break them down in simpler method, then meet Mentors who has accomplished what you intend to do achieve this period of time ask questions how they did it, after then bring back your plan and what you leant them do , join with your own plan begin to work towards it smartly and see the break out of the achievement of your plan .
