What was the hardest part for you becoming a chef?

I'm asking because I want to be a chef when I get out of high school. #chef #food #cullinary

Thank you comment icon I mean the hardest part of day-to-day life of being a chef. Shane
Thank you comment icon The hardest part is cooking our own recipes like yummy soup. They did made these from scratch. However, it will be a good idea to ask one of the chefs to help. Grace

Hi Shane,

Great question! The hardest part is success doesn't happen overnight and you have to put the work in everyday. Everyday you have to continue to challenge yourself and push to improve to be the best you can be. Than one day you realize you have a team depending on your decisions. Success happens by perceiving, enduring a relentless work schedule that will make you sacrifice important people and time with those people. If you love what you do it doesn't feel like a sacrifice and that is the key, if you love it, it doesn't feel like work.

Good luck Shaine hope you enjoyed my answer,

R
Thank you comment icon Being a chef as a career is one of my hardest careers that I have never tried before. This is related to cooking some yummy recipes that we made together as a group like seafood pasta, mini apple pizzas, cheddar and bacon breakfast sandwiches, red velvet cake, and avacado and mango salsa. Hi Shane! When you ask about the hardest part, do you mean the hardest part of day-to-day life of being a chef (when you're already a chef), or the hardest part of *becoming* a chef (like on the path to becoming one)?
