Hi Faith. You can do a brief search for counseling or psychology degrees offered at colleges in the US. Community colleges and 4 year universities typically all offer some type of financial aid since it's a federal offering. I'm in Texas and attended a university here to complete my degree. Some degrees are called different things across the different programs. I would encourage looking for a program that is CACREP (The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) accredited and you can begin by visiting this site to see programs that are included: https://www.cacrep.org/directory. I attended Texas A&M University Commerce to complete my degree.
Absolutely agree with this, especially in regards to picking a CACREP accredited school.
