I am not a professional athlete but if you want to know how Colin Kaepernick succeeded from high school to become a professional - watch his documentary on Netflix - Colin in Black & White
He was an excellent Baseball player then he pursued Basketball but his passion was Americal Football.
He received encouragement from his parents and coaches to pursue what he wanted to do.
