Should I also take some Marketing courses in College to while taking Interior Design courses?
I would like to know more about how to get my name out there and be seen by potential clients in the future. Would a marketing class be helpful in any way?

ABSOLUTLEY!!! You should always be working toward finding ideal clients with ideal projects. Keeping the “ pipeline” full is job security for you. Developing and nurturing relationships with wonderful referral partners is key. Interior Design is a high touchpoint field so having a multiple touch marketing plan to often and regularly keep in touch with past clients, to stay in touch with interested potential clients is your biggest asset.
Thank you for the advice.

The answer will depend on your goals.
Are you trying to open up your own firm immediately after?
Are you trying to focus on the marketing side of the brand/firm?
Can you get marketing experience on site in your first couple of companies by collaborating with them and making yourself available to learn what they do and instead focus on other areas during college?
Is it fun for you and you want to do it?
etc.
Think of the path you want to take personally, and then question which adjacent fields you want to focus on. We do live in a world where exposure is everything for a brand, so Marketing can't hurt, but if it isn't fun and you're going to feel meh about it, I'd just observe how Marketing works once inside of a company, which usually gives you plenty of opportunities to snoop in and collaborate.
If you're trying to build your own brand from the get-to, then Marketing is a big priority.
