I agree with Terrell above. The oganization, the hours of opporation, and the location would make answering this question a bit easier. Typically morning and afternoon shifts are going to be preferred by employees however that doesnt mean that more securty opportunities wont be preferred in the evening and overnight hours by the organization. The security profession will always need support at all hours of the day in many different capacities. You will want to determine the space in which you support, the type of organization and the responsibilities provided.

What kinds of hours do jobs look for you to work? security guard
do they want more of night shift or early shifts

Based upon the question there are some factors that would have to be determined.

1. The company itself could be 24 hours, overnight, day shift, or evening shift.
2. Research the company that interest you via website to determine operating hours.
3. Something else you may want to review, is if this would be inside or outside as well, I hope this help.

Hetal’s Answer

The hours that a security guard is required to work can vary depending on the job and employer. Security guards may be required to work different shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Some employers may also require security guards to work overtime, holidays, or on-call shifts.

In general, security guards may be required to work non-standard hours, as many security jobs require 24/7 coverage. Some employers may offer flexible schedules, allowing security guards to choose the hours they work based on their availability and preferences. It is important to check with the employer about their specific requirements for hours of work when applying for a security guard job.
