Dan’s Answer
Residential Realty (selling houses) is an aspect of a multi faceted career field as a Realtor of Real Estate Agent. It is exactly the multi faceted aspect that makes Real Estate so intriguing to me. When most people think of a Realtor or a Real Estate agent, they think of buying a primary home or house. In my line of work I help people sell their homes or property(land), purchase a new home, help people bring their businesses to life, help with Real Estate investments and so much more. The true joy and satisfaction for me come from pulling the ideas and thoughts from a client’s heart and mind, then helping to make it come to life then witnessing their happiness. I also love that no two days or clients are the same which always keeps things interesting!

Veruschka’s Answer
While not in real estate myself, I have a large number of close friends who are, and they choose it for the following reasons:
1. Love helping people find/sell their home which is an essential part of everyone's life-rewarding/enriching intrinsically .
2. Love having a chance to interact with a variety of customers and have a passion in general for great customer service & building relationships.
3. Love the flexibility and independence that comes from being a real estate agent - set your hours and the effort you put into it usually translates monetarily in the long run.
4. Uncapped potential financially - can even develop leadership skills if you go from an independent individual agent to forming your own real estate team/group.
5. Universality of the role -no matter where you live there is a need for real estate agents.
Hope this helps.
