Hi Chris. Jobs related to history open to people with a bachelor's degree in history include teaching history at the middle or high school level (for public school teaching you would most likely need to get teaching certification also). There are also historical sites and county/state/national parks which hire historical interpreters who research the historical significance of the place they are working and then explain that to the visiting public. Some county and state governments also hire historians to do similar work as well as to conserve and display historical records and artifacts.
Some historians also are involved in the creation of exhibits at historic sites, museums, libraries and archives.

If you went on for a masters or doctoral degree, you would have additional career options including being a professor in a community college, college or university. History professors teach, research, and write about their topics of expertise.

Suzanne recommends the following next steps:

Check out the website related to history careers on o*net (the occupations site of the US Department of Labor) which is https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/19-3093.00
