Hello! I am in the travel industry. Hospitality is a wonderful field to work in! I love the journey I've been on and highly recommend this as a career. There are so many opportunities to work anywhere all over the world. Whether it is working in the operations, sales and marketing, engineering, food and beverage - they all play such an important role. The opportunity to impact the lives of others daily is so rewarding.

Travel benefits, as well as all of the other benefits that come with working for a large company make it even more exciting. I truly love what I do!

I have worked for a hotel company for over 25 years! When I was in high school, I worked in the hospitality industry (in restaurants) during the summers and loved engaging in conversation with people, serving others and being part of a team. I continued to work part-time in college in a restaurant at a hotel. I loved that I got to meet new people every day but also got to see customers that would come back and ask for me by name! My university offered hotel and restaurant management as a major, so I took Hospitality 101 and was hooked. I truly enjoyed the classes in my major (including learning how to cook, marketing, managing others, etc.) I interviewed and started with a hotel company right after college in a Management Training Program. I selected a company that had similar values to my own, where I could stay with one company but have different experiences all over the world, and would give me opportunities to travel. I worked at hotels for the first 5 years and have been in a corporate position for the past 20 years. The benefits are wonderful, including perks if you love to travel. The cons were working weekends, holidays and nights, but our company now offers flexible schedules to accommodate different needs. Do something you are passionate about and you will love your job.

Hey there! I'm a family practice physician, and I absolutely love what I do. My journey to becoming a doctor involved going to college, spending 4 years in medical school, and then completing 3 years of postgraduate training. Lastly, I had to pass a certification test to make sure I was well-prepared and capable for the job.

There are so many things I enjoy about my career, like positively impacting people's lives, and always having the opportunity to think, explore, and learn new things. Of course, there are some challenges, like spending many years in school and sometimes working long hours at a hospital or office.

But the benefits are fantastic! I get good pay, time off, and health/life insurance, among other perks. I can't imagine being anything else - I truly enjoy my career as a family practice physician!
