7. Yes. Most/all jurisdictions require you to apprentice. Typically for 10 years. You get credit for going to a trade school and or two year college. After your apprenticeship is over you become a journeyman electrician and can typically work unsupervised, but a master electrician with a license will still need to review/monitor your work.

9. Language Arts.
10. How to work with my hands and in a team.
11. Some jobs can be shift work or very long hours (if your doing emergency work). Also working in the elements can take a toll.
12. Yes. I very much enjoyed doing electrical work. Also there is a satisfaction to seeing what you accomplished at the end of each day.
13. Working with my hands. Learning a trade and skill. Knowing I would always be able to do work in my own home.
