Hi William, I hope you're enjoying your weekday. I may not be a car mechanic, but I believe it's better for them to work carefully on my car rather than rushing. Everything requires time and patience. The more experience you gain, the faster you'll become, but speed shouldn't be the main focus when working on cars.
