Start building projects! Pick a programing language and learn it inside out, then start building projects. Host your projects on the web if possible or public them in the app store etc. Once anyone can view it add it to your resume, create a portfolio site and show your projects off there as well. Then it is all about learning Data structures and algorithms, use sites like leetcode and algoexpert.io to start learning. Once you are able to solve any medium-level problem, start applying like crazy, build your LinkedIn network and start posting/messaging people. Hope these simple steps help!

Create projects, publish them.

Everyone is different. Sone people already know their passion (ethical hacking, programming, etc) and since you said computer science in general I really think you should do what I did before I found my area. I went to a technical college and took all the intro courses. Originally I thought I was going to like hacking and ended up doing program management (which ends up making same salary) Go experience a few areas and really pick your favorite!
From there the best way to get into a career is by joining school clubs, local clubs and attending local events and conferences! When I sat for my 3rd interview at IBM I actually knew the interviewer from attending a lot of events with them, they knew I was passionate and loved CS!
