DJ’s Answer
There are many jobs that you could do around transportation where you would sit at a desk. The key questions to ask yourself are:
1. Whether you want to be working in the public or private sector?
2. Do you want to focus on air, sea, or land transport?
3. Do you prefer transportation of goods, people, or both?
4. What type of role you want to play for that company (e.g., Strategy, HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance)?
Getting better answers to those questions will help you narrow the list of companies and roles that might be a good fit.

Transportation jobs can range from logistics planning, fleet management, sales & marketing for a transportation company (Aircraft, Cars, Boats etc), shipping of goods worldwide, transportation of precious cargo (Medical supplies, etc), transportation for the military. Transportation companies can also have all different functions - HR, Sales, marketing, finance, product management, service delivery, etc. As such, there is a wide range of jobs. Remember - commercial space travel is also about transportation. :)
