Marcelius Levites’s Answer
Hey Dallas, that's an excellent question! If you've already completed Job Corp and received your certificate before graduating, it's a good idea to talk to your instructor about potential opportunities after you graduate. It can be a bit challenging to find a great job with just a job training program certificate, as many employers look for 2-4 years of professional experience. However, if you plan to continue your carpentry education in college, you can work while also furthering your degree. It all depends on your goals and how far you want to take your trade. Are you considering this as a long-term career or just giving it a try?

Dallas,
what Marcelius said is great but depending on where you live, the job market is different. Right now it seems that the labor trades are in short supply. There are companies that are always looking for entry level people, be it laborers or carpenters. You might not make as much to start with but the longer you stay, the more you learn and the more opportunities you will have to move up. Bigger companies offer good benefits as well.
I hope this helps!
