Hi Sabrina!
Building on Tara's valuable advice, I will tell you that my personal motto is "Everything in life is hours of driving. The more you drive your car, the better driver you become". As you can imagine, I couldn't agree more on what Tara mentioned around gaining experience in the industry. Try to join diverse design projects and actively seek feedback. Additionally, you can focus on mastering various tools and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies, while cultivating a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the phycology of design to create impactful messages. Since you're also thinking of opening your own business, I would advice you to start by learning the basics of business management, marketing and client relations, to ensure sustainability and growth. Rest assured that at some point you'll be able to build your unique style that will set you apart in the industry. This means that by combining your expertise with strategic business acumen, you'll be well-equipped to enjoy the profits in this business, which are coming from the ability to create value for your clients through innovative and effective solutions. The more you can demonstrate your unique approach and results, the more you can differentiate your services and drive higher rates.
Best regards,
Nikolas

Finding a knowledgeable mentor can be incredibly helpful in guiding you through the learning process and mastering the field. Additionally, before launching your business, consider taking some business courses. Many businesses struggle or fail due to common mistakes in accounting, taxes, daily operations, payroll, and inventory management. By taking basic courses in these areas, you'll be better equipped to keep your business running smoothly and successfully.
