How can I become a sports manager?

I’m in college trying to decide on a manager, but I’m not sure how much work it is to become a sports manager.

Usually the path for something like this is business, marketing, or potentially political science. Some colleges will have a specific sports management major but that's somewhat uncommon. Sports management - whether as an agent or in administration is really business heavy.

I would start by becoming a good athlete..doesn’t have to be professional athlete but get in the mix and have a good reputation amongst the public.
