Nicole’s Answer

Each architecture school will have a different program. I am in a 5-year program to get my Bachelors of Architecture in Tucson, Arizona. The Masters program is 2-3 years (after the 5 years of undergraduate school). To become a licensed architect you will need to take several exams. In addition, you will also need to log all hours of experience in an internship. Looking into the AIA website could be helpful in learning more specifics for a certain state.

Hi, in order to become an Architect, at least, in New York: you need 4 years college education for your Bachelors in Science and 1 year thesis for your Bachelors in Architecture. A masters is optional but that’s another year of college studies. Hope I have answered your question. Good luck!
