Laurie’s Answer
People who can speak more than one language are desirable candidates for jobs in many industries. With the global nature of our world, businesses often need multi-lingual people to speak to customers, to translate during meetings, to translate documents, the business needs are endless. One of my biggest regrets is that I never learned a second language. Doing so would have opened so many more career opportunities for me. Best to you in your future career endeavors!

Keep an eye out for chances where you can make the most of your mother tongue. This could be in areas like tourism, retail, or even teaching others who are learning two languages at once.

Objectively, learning a second language is harder than being able to speak/comprehend just one language. So definitely keep that in mind - you're doing something that not everyone can do! You now potentially have insight into two different languages/cultures.
