Hello Addison!
This is a great question. Simply put, first start thinking about what you want to study. You can always go back and change your major down the road if you decide that what you're focusing your studies in does not grasp your attention as much as it used to. But, first start thinking and looking into universities or fellow programs. During this process, also focus your attention on the location of the university. If you want to stay primarily closer to home and your family, that is something that I would keep into consideration. For me personally, I knew that I wanted to attend studies somewhere in the middle distance-wise. Therefore, I chose an university that was about a four-and-a-half hour drive from my home. That way, if I needed/ wanted to come home during the weekends, it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. Finally, once you decide on a few programs to apply to, go to their main admissions page online and they should have an easy process on how and where to apply!
I hope this helped, and good luck in your endeavors!
Thank you

Begin looking up different colleges and their programs. Once you see some that you like, go to the university admissions section on the website. Once you do that, you will have to complete all the steps in the admissions process, which is usually your contact information, an introductory paragraph that tells who you are and what you want to study, high school transcripts, and the program (field of study) section that you want to be accepted to. Overall, go to the admission sections of university websites and complete the requirements. You may be able to reuse introductory paragraph or essays based on each schools requirements and you may also be required to get letters from recommendations, which usually can come from teachers, friends, and society members who can attest to your character as a student.

You can look up admissions processes on the university websites. Some have their own requirements, but there's also many that use a common admissions process from Common App.

Applying for university involves a systematic process. Begin by researching universities that match your academic and career aspirations. Check their admission requirements, gather necessary documents like transcripts and standardized test scores, and complete online application forms, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. Pay application fees if required and submit transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation directly to the universities. Craft a compelling personal statement or essay and meet application deadlines, which may vary depending on the admission rounds. Monitor your application status through the university portals, prepare for interviews if needed, explore financial aid and scholarships, and patiently await admission decisions. Upon acceptance, review admission and financial aid offers, follow enrollment instructions, and, for international students, fulfill visa requirements. Diligence and careful planning are key to a successful university application process.
