What are good jobs for kids around the age of 13

Hello Carter,
It can be hard to find jobs at such young age, but amazingly you have attempted to do so! Jobs provide you with a sense of responsibility and independence which are great qualities. You can begin researching jobs for when you are older, learning about saving and investments. Or, you can create a small business selling various foods in your neighborhood, host a car wash, tutor in something you are exceedingly good at, sell old things, become a golf caddy, and conduct a garage sale. Carter, great question! It can be tricky to find work for folks that young. 14 is a lot easier. At 13 the best options that come to mind are babysitting and refereeing. Refereeing for soccer or basketball may be the best option, those leagues are everywhere, they generally run year-round, and there are never enough ref's to go around. You can also make a decent amount of money and get in a good workout too.
