What field of work should I consider going into if I want to help people in needs?

I want to go into nursing/pre med and want to see what field/work should I go into that will mostly require me to help people in need

There are many career you can pursue to help people. Not only nursing. You can go into psychology, education, social worker, physical or occupational therapist, etc just observe what are your skills and desires they should steer you in the right directions.

The field of helping individuals is limitless. Initially you think “health care” but the need of helping others is wide and non-traditional here are a few below.

1. Direct Support Worker/ Home Health Aide helping people with special needs as their care giver.

2. AmeriCorps Community Service Leader.

3. After- School Youth Advisor helping underprivileged students.

4. Salvation Army Coordinator

5. Children & Family Homeless Shelter Advocate.

6. Child Welfare Field Representative

7. Teacher

8. Social Worker

9. 911 Dispatcher

10. Marriage & Family Counselor

I think considering helping others y9u are actually helping the humanity.

For any health related careers, you will have mupltiple amazing opportunities to help people.

With the current world situation, we just need to normalize kindness, right now being kind is seen as something weird.
