Considering my experience as a supervisor in facility maintenance, I'd say it depends on your goals and target audience. Opening a welding shop 5 days a week could provide a good work-life balance and time for quality work. However, if demand is strong and competition is limited, a 7-day schedule might boost profits. It's important to find the balance that works for both business and personal commitments.

Operating your business for six or seven days a week is an excellent strategy for success. Any business that is open more days tends to thrive more. While a five-day week might seem sufficient, it's usually more suitable for businesses that have been around for several years and have a steady stream of regular customers. So, keep pushing forward, and remember, the more you're open, the more opportunities you have to succeed!
