Hello Lyss, your DNA might just be extraordinary! Indeed, genetics play a significant role in creating world-class athletes. They are often blessed with a natural talent. However, if you believe you have that special DNA, be prepared for some of the most intense daily work for many years. All world-class athletes remain vigilant, meaning they are constantly striving towards a goal. It could be a physical goal, a mental one, or even an award, but they are always working to outperform their rivals.
We often see the triumphant side of athletes who reach the pinnacle of their respective sports, but there are many more who don't achieve that ultimate goal. That doesn't mean you shouldn't dream big. The effort you put in will yield results in some way. I can attest to this as I played college football, dreaming of making it to the NFL. While I didn't quite reach that level, only a tiny fraction of those who aspire to such a goal do. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't dream, strive, and work towards your goals. Just understand the odds and realize that the ultimate goal might not make you a world-class athlete, but it could shape you into a world-class individual in society.
Remember, hope always outweighs fear. Best of luck!

Becoming a world-famous athlete is an ambitious goal that requires dedication, talent, hard work, and a bit of luck. While there are no guarantees, here are some steps you can take to increase your chances of achieving your dream:
Identify your passion and talent: Choose a sport that you are passionate about and in which you believe you have the potential to excel. Assess your skills and talents realistically to determine your strengths and weaknesses.
Start early and train consistently: Many successful athletes start training at a young age. The more time and effort you invest in training, the better your chances of reaching a high level of performance.
Get proper coaching: Seek out experienced and knowledgeable coaches who can guide your development. Quality coaching can help you avoid bad habits, refine your technique, and provide valuable feedback.
Set clear goals: Establish specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. Break them down into short-term and long-term objectives to track your progress effectively.
Stay committed and disciplined: Becoming a world-class athlete requires immense dedication and sacrifice. Stay disciplined in your training regimen, nutrition, rest, and lifestyle choices.
Compete at higher levels: As your skills improve, aim to compete in local, regional, national, and international competitions. Success at higher levels will attract more attention from coaches, scouts, and sponsors.
Build a support network: Surround yourself with supportive family members, friends, and teammates. A strong support network can provide motivation, encouragement, and help you through challenging times.
Take care of your body and mind: Sports involve physical and mental demands. Proper nutrition, rest, recovery, and mental training are crucial to maintain peak performance and prevent burnout.
Embrace failure and learn from it: Not every competition or training session will go perfectly. Learn from your mistakes, analyze your performance, and use setbacks as opportunities for growth.
Seek sponsorship and endorsements: As you gain recognition, you may attract sponsors and endorsements. These partnerships can provide financial support and help increase your visibility.
Leverage social media and marketing: In today's digital age, social media can be a powerful tool for self-promotion. Build a strong online presence to connect with fans, showcase your achievements, and attract attention from media outlets.
Network with influential people: Attend sports events, conferences, and training camps to meet influential people in your sport. Networking can open doors to opportunities and collaborations.
Be a role model: Demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and humility both on and off the field. Positive behavior can inspire others and contribute to your public image.
Remember that becoming a world-famous athlete is a challenging journey that requires resilience and perseverance. Not everyone will reach this level of fame, but by following these steps and giving it your best effort, you can maximize your potential and achieve great success in your chosen sport.

Your question is specific, so the only response you should pay attention to would be one from a world-famous athlete. As a person who enjoys sports, my advice is to excel far above your peers. And as you progress through HS and college and beyond, the competition will be ever harder, and you will still need to be superior in performance. Doing that may require that training in the sport itself becomes your full-time pursuit. I wish you well.
