Auto Mechanics, Would you recommend pursuing further education or chasing a career right after getting a certificate?

I'm a student at the Longbeach Job Corps center and I recently was told that I would not be able to do C.B.T. I became interested in automotive soon after and am curious as to whether I should just get my degree and start working or if I should go to college to pursue further education?

My recommendation is go to college and widen your knowledge, and at the same time pursue other trade(s) with your skill level to see what interests you. When I was going to in junior high school, I took Math/Science academic curriculum to see what kind of engineering interested me. In the 12th Grade, I took an elective architectural drafting/design class, and decided to become an architect. With the help of my university instructors and part time bosses encouragements, I achieved my goal. I design and administered contruction projects for national auto and aircraft firms. Explorer your options while in schools, you might find something that really catches your attention. I'm really grateful to all those that guided and supported me.

Immediate Employment: If you want to start working and earning money quickly, getting a certificate and gaining hands-on experience might be the best route.
Further Education: If you’re interested in specialized roles or long-term career advancement, pursuing additional education could be beneficial.
Hybrid Approach: Consider working while pursuing part-time or online education to balance practical experience with advanced knowledge.
Research and Networking: Gather information about industry trends, speak with professionals, and evaluate financial aspects to make an informed decision.
