The Automotive industry is a great choice. There are many good schools out there so finding one should be no problem. You can get a head start like working part time at a local Napa auto parts store or a Valvoline lube shop even a tire shop will give you some experience with tools.. The Military also will train you and in the Technology of MECHANICS. Good luck and remember safety first.

A quick Google search of this field shows schools you can apply to in order to become an automotive mechanic, how to apply for the program, financial aid options (if needed), as well as the length of time it takes to complete which looks like 2-4 years of training. Good Luck! If you keep that passion you'll be a great mechanic!
