Humility makes a good mechanic.
Knowing that you don't know it all, but you want to.
I have almost 24 years as an aviation mechanic and have been humbled plenty of times throughout my career due to ignorance or ego. I have learned that having an extreme amount of patience is a huge key to successfully overcoming a challenge. If you don't know the answer, don't guess, somebody else does.
