Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you want to be an entrepreneur. Have you thought about what industries you would like to start to our business.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what industry you have interest or you have strength. Identify the industry you would like to start your business
2. Analyse the industry, eg entry criteria, competition status, any alternate / substitutes, etc
3. Attend industry related courses and management courses
4. Work in the industry some time to understand the business model and establish people network
5. Start the business online first if feasible
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Finding a mentor or a business owner to shadow or apprentice would be beneficial. Joining online groups of like minded people can help determine what path to take in a particular business path.

Hey Kamaria!
This is a great question. Starting a business can be the most challenging yet rewarding journey a professional can go on.
My advice to you is first, make sure you have stable income that can be used to fund your business. Even before you brainstorm an idea, I highly suggest you have a source of income already because financial stress and strain can deter you from following through on actualizing your dreams of becoming a business owner.
Next, while you are working, try to start saving up funds to invest in your business while also monitoring your credit score. You can later leverage your high credit score to get bank loans to re-invest in your business.
After that, you can begin brainstorming business ideas. Start thinking about what you are already skilled at and do well currently. You can leverage the skills you have to build a side hustle, and use those funds to scale your side hustle into a larger business.
Take baby steps, do your research and dream big!
I wish you the very best
