It depends on what you want to do. Set goals for yourself based off your interests and then reseach what steps must be taken to pursue and reach that goal. Talk to your guidance counselor and/or college and career advisors to discuss viable options, such as college, career or both.

Hi Dulce,
There are several options you can consider after high school:
1. **Higher Education**: You can consider enrolling in a college or university to pursue a degree. There are several good schools in Baytown, such as Impact Early College High School and Lee High School. You can choose a field of study that aligns with your career goals.
2. **Vocational Training**: If you're interested in a specific trade, you might consider vocational training. These programs provide hands-on experience and can lead to a certification in fields like automotive technology, culinary arts, or healthcare.
3. **Community College**: Attending a community college can be a cost-effective way to earn an associate degree or prepare for transfer to a four-year university.
4. **Work or Internship**: If you're not ready for further study right away, you might consider finding a job or internship. This can provide valuable work experience and help you save money for future education.
5. **After School Programs**: There are also after-school programs available in Baytown. These programs can provide additional learning opportunities and help you explore your interests.
Remember, the best choice depends on your personal interests, career goals, and financial situation. It's important to research each option thoroughly and consider seeking advice from school counselors, teachers, family members, or mentors before making a decision. Good luck! 😊.

Hi Dulce!
In addition to the great advice offered so far, have you considered travel as part of your plans after high school? It's a wonderful way to open your eyes to opportunities that you might not have thought about. For example, if you decide to attend college after high school, maybe you can look into semester-abroad programs, or you can explore opportunities to live in another country for a few years to attend college (and possibly work part-time). Travel, especially international travel, has been an excellent "extended classroom" for my young adult kids who are now attending college -- it has allowed them to gain better perspective of how they might possibly fit in the world in their future careers while making friends all over.
Wishing you all the best!
