This decision takes thought and care. Some considerations:
1. Field: Does this school offer classes in areas that interest you?
2. Career: Where do students end up working after graduating? Where do they get internships? Does the college offer career guidance?
3. Location: Close to home so you can come back for holidays and long weekends?
4. Size: Too many students may make you feel lost but on the upside, give you exposure to tons of sports, extracurriculars, fields of study, diverse student populations, teaching experts, etc.
5. Extracurriculars
6. Diversity of student body

The College Board has tons of information about different universities (primarily in the US), and you can search and filter by majors and degrees offered, location, size, and even admission rates and affordability. Once you have an idea of what you're looking for in a school, it's a great tool to find institutions that fit your criteria.

Hi!
Think about what your aspirations are and what are your interests. Something that helped me was asking myself what made me happy and what I could see myself doing every day without getting bored. Look for programs and colleges that could help you get there. Keep in mind that many occupations do not technically demand a certain degree or require you to go to actual college, so if you’re not 100% sure about college then definitely look into that. Don’t be afraid to explore and ask questions.
