Just like any other journey after high school, earning an associate's degree is a reachable goal with just two years of dedicated full-time study. If you're aiming higher, a bachelor's degree is also within your grasp with a four-year commitment. The great news is, if you're stepping into a department without a degree, many colleges and universities value your police training and experience. They'll consider the time you've spent at the police academy and may reward you with college credits after evaluating your training. It's a wonderful opportunity to get a head start on your academic journey!

Hi Domonick,
It takes 4 years for a degree in criminal justice.
It takes 4 years for a degree in criminal justice.
To make sure it stays 4 years and does not go longer, stay in contact with your college counselor to ensure no classes are missed resulting in having to stay for an extra semester or two. I found that out the hard way and did 5 years in spite of carrying a full load every semester.
