Hi Angel,
I think that's great that you're thinking about what you'd like to do for a living.
I would say start assessing your skills and interests. You can do this by reflecting on what you enjoy and excel at. Do you like sports? Do you enjoy cooking? Are you good with numbers? Your abilities as well as your passions can hand in hand if you're wanting to figure out what you'd like to do long-term. Once you figure that out, see about volunteer opportunities in that space to see if that's something you'd be interested in doing. For example, when I was in high school, I volunteered at a hospital because I thought I wanted to become a nurse or a doctor. I volunteered on different floors, and learned a lot about the medical field, but ultimately, I knew I wouldn't be happy in this space. When choosing a career, it is crucial to prioritize your happiness and personal fulfillment. A career that aligns with your passions and values is more likely bring you satisfaction and long-term success. Take the time to explore all of your interests if able to.

Hi Angel,
This is a great question and something that everyone asks themselves before diving into their careers. It's great to first identify interests and passions and work from there to find opportunities in getting your foot in the door. Whether that be from using your personal network to reaching out directly for internships or opportunities to shadow someone in that profession or organization that is a great place to start.
Also, during the process there may be rejections or radio silence but make sure to use those experiences to gather feedback and fuel you to continue exploring.

Hello Angel,
Excellent inquiry!
I'll aim to provide you with a clear and concise response based on my personal experiences.
First and foremost, pinpoint your areas of interest. Once you've done that, actively seek out volunteer opportunities in those fields while you continue your educational journey.
Remember, businesses tend to favor individuals who go above and beyond their basic job duties. Demonstrating such initiative not only reflects your interest but also your dedication to securing the desired position.
