The truth is you don't need any degree to become a welder. Weld school will help give you a head start on weld procedures and methods of welding but when you get in the field is when you really learn how to weld. Most weld programs also teach you how to read a blueprint which is good knowledge to have. Most weld job will require you to be 18 to perform

Hello,
To acquire the essential theoretical knowledge and basic hands-on skills, you'll probably need to enroll in courses via your high school's technical program.
Institutions such as AWS, renowned technical schools, provide a wide range of seminars and courses tailored to your career stage and chosen path.
Remember, the most lucrative welding jobs include Pipe welders, Tube welders, Rig welders, Underwater welders, and Combo welders. The welding method and industry you choose to specialize in significantly impact your earnings.
I hope this helps.
